This page explains what information Muonix Labs ("we") handles through muonixlabs.com and muoninsight.com (the "websites") and through the Muon Insight application. The short version: we don't collect personal information, and Muon Insight doesn't send data to us.

The websites

  • The websites don't set cookies.
  • They don't use analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
  • They have no forms or accounts, so you don't send us personal information through them.
  • If you switch between light and dark mode, that choice is saved in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
  • The websites are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect them from abuse. That processing is covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

GitHub

Muon Insight downloads, source code and issue reports are on GitHub. Anything you post in a GitHub issue can be seen by others and is covered by GitHub's privacy statement. Please don't include passwords, personal data or other sensitive information in issues.

The Muon Insight application

  • Muon Insight doesn't send data to Muonix Labs. It has no telemetry or usage tracking.
  • The results, logs and reports it produces stay on the computers and storage locations you choose.
  • It connects only to what you point it at: remote computers over WinRM, a content repository your organization sets up, or a ServiceNow instance you configure.
  • The Chrome log collection module, when you choose to run it, opens Google test pages in Chrome to capture network logs.
  • Diagnostic results and support bundles can contain information about your computers and users. You control where they go, and report exports support redaction.
